It ensures that sensitive or confidential information cannot be recovered from the disk even with specialized data recovery techniques. However, it\u2019s important to note that degaussing is irreversible; once data has been erased using this method, it cannot be recovered, and the Magnetic Tape may become unusable.\r\n\r\nWhile Magnetic Tape degaussing provides a highly effective means of data erasure, it may not be suitable for all types of storage media. For example, solid-state drives (SSDs) or 2.5\u2033\/3.5\u2033 hybrid magnetic solid-state drives and other non-magnetic storage devices cannot be degaussed. In such cases, alternative methods of data sanitization, such as secure erase procedures or physical destruction, may be necessary to ensure data security and privacy.
