Ethical hacking

Ethical hacking, also known as penetration testing or white-hat hacking, refers to the practice of testing computer systems, networks, or applications for vulnerabilities in a controlled manner. Ethical hackers, also called security researchers or penetration testers, use the same techniques and tools as malicious hackers but with the permission of the system owner and for legitimate purposes.

The primary goal of ethical hacking is to identify and remediate security weaknesses before they can be exploited by malicious actors. By simulating real-world attacks, ethical hackers can help organizations improve their security posture, protect sensitive data, and mitigate the risk of cyber threats.
